Deploying Catalogs

This section explains how to deploy an AtScale repository so that its models are available to client connections and queries. Once a repository has been deployed, it is referred to as a catalog.

  • What Does Deploying a Catalog Do? When you deploy a catalog in AtScale, all of the models as they are currently defined in the repository become immediately available for queries.
  • Deploying a Catalog Deploying a catalog deploys all of the models contained in the selected repository. You cannot deploy models individually.
  • Configuring Permissions on Deployed Models You can configure runtime permissions on deployed models and perspectives to control which users can access them from BI tools.
  • Undeploying Catalogs Undeploying a catalog removes it and its models from AtScale's runtime environment. Client connections and queries will no longer be able to access the models. You can only undeploy an entire catalog, not individual models.
