Prerequisites

You must be an AtScale admin to access and modify engine settings.

Changing engine settings

To change engine settings:

1. In the main menu, select Settings.

2. In the Settings panel, click Engine.

3. Locate the settings you want to change and update them as needed.

   You can search for specific settings using the search bar at the top of the page, or navigate to a particular section using the Engine panel on the left side of the page.

4. When you are done making changes, click Save Engine Settings.

You must restart the AtScale engine for your changes to take effect. You can do this through your cluster.

Adding custom settings

Advanced users can add custom engine settings to further refine engine behavior.

To add a custom setting:

1. In the main menu, select Settings.
2. In the Settings panel, click Engine.
3. In the Overview section at the top of the page, enter a Setting Name and Setting Value for your custom setting.
4. Click Save.

You must restart the AtScale engine for your changes to take effect. You can do this through your cluster.
