Removing Datasets from Projects

Removing a dataset from the project library takes it out of the project entirely. Any cube metadata that depends on the dataset will be removed as well.

About this task

You should remove datasets from the project library that you do not intend to use in any cube of the project.

Procedure

Open a cube in the project.
Open the Library panel and filter to show only the datasets.
Select the dataset you want to remove.
Click the trash can icon.
Click OK to remove the dataset from the project.
Warning: Any dimensions, measures, relationships, and calculated columns that depend on the dataset will be removed from cubes in the project.
