Install Clustered AtScale

This document describes the first-time installation of Clustered AtScale. These instructions are for CentOS/RedHat operating systems. You may have to modify for your supported OS.

Before you begin

  • Complete all prerequisite installation steps.

  • Running Clustered AtScale requires the external load balancer and three AtScale machines, referred to as follows:

    • Coordinator Host - runs the AtScale Coordinator
    • Master Host - runs full AtScale (only designated "Master" during installation but not at run-time)
    • Standby Host - runs full AtScale (only designated "Standby" during installation but not at run-time)

Installing Clustered AtScale

  1. Follow the Stand-Alone installation instructions.
  2. Follow the Converting Stand-Alone to Clustered AtScale instructions.
  3. If you encounter problems and want to re-install, follow the Reinstalling Clustered AtScale instructions.
